Chua, Biado and other top PH billiard players on the way to Maldives 2023 10 Ball Open

Johann Chua, John Vicedo, Kyle Amoroto and Carlo Biado are on the way to participate in the 2023 Maldives 10 Ball Open. 

Scheduled to take place on the 22nd of April, 2023, the tournament will see a total of 64 athletes participating in the event. The competition will take place at the National Billiard Centre, G. Youth Activity Centre, Male, Maldives.

The tournament will begin with group qualifiers, with 16 groups comprising of 4 players each. The format will be double elimination, with 2 players qualifying from each group. The top 32 players will then advance to the finals, which will be a single elimination round.

The champion of the tournament will receive a prize of USD $30,000, along with a trophy and medal. The runner-up will receive USD $15,000, along with a trophy and medal. The players finishing in the third and fourth positions will receive USD $8,000 each, along with a trophy and medal. The players finishing in the fifth to eighth positions will receive USD $5,000 each, while the players finishing in the ninth to sixteenth positions will receive USD $3,000 each. Finally, the players finishing in the seventeenth to thirty-second positions will receive USD $1,500 each.
